Hey everyone,
Im new too the board, and just curious how long this board has been up? I think we should do some low grade marketing or something for this place so we can get some more GAeers in here! I know for a fact there is a whole slew of them that post on Bluegoldnews. com. We just need to get the word out. By they way, how are these get togethers for the football games usually? I lived most of my adolescent life in GA, then went to WVU, and now im back in atlanta to work, so i need some fellow eers to party with. ok, thats all, later!

This style messageboard was just implemented at the beginning of this summer, but we've had a messageboard on the site for over a year. It is typically slow during the summer as we don't have as many chapter or sports events too discuss.
But come football season, we usually have a really strong turnout (over 50) for most games. We also have a bus trip to the Pitt game, which promises to be incredible if last year was any indictation.

great! once i get up and running with my new job ill be able to throw down for whatever the dues are for this alumni chapter. I was planning on going to the pitt game this year, because i doubt ill have any accrued vacation time before that game, so a bus trip would be great! Just a warning though, im fresh out of WVU, so any road trip expecially to a wvu game involves a lot of beer. where are the games watched during the season? ill be working off of windy hill in marrietta, i hear its close to there, that true?

Chapter dues are $30 per year (15 of which goes to fund the Peach State scholarship). Don't worry about the bus trip, there will be PLENTY of drinking: www.wvupeach.com/bus_trip.htm . We meet at Laseter's Tavern: www.wvupeach.com/tavern.htm . It should be less than a 10 minute drive for you.

2000 WVU/WVU ROTC Grad. Was sent to ATL to fight this war from my chair. Contacted Will today for the WVU VS VT game. I watched the Miami game by myself in Stockbridge. Will not do that again now that I know where the EER fans get together.
